This award, named after Dr. Michael Drake (AM) recognises an eminent member of the Cytology field who has made an outstanding contribution to the profession of diagnostic cytopathology.

To be eligible candidates should display at least some of the following: inspirational involvement and promotion of cytopathology, an outstanding history of publication, a leadership role in the profession and Society, a major educational contribution.

The 2023 Michael Drake fellow, Jenny Ross receives her award from Diane Cominos (ASC President), Annabelle Farnsworth (Chair of the Board of Education) and Terese Boost, who introduced Jenny at the 50th Annual Scientific Meeting in November in Surfers Paradise.
